Ultra-High Current, Low Voltage Output

  Specifically engineered to transform medium/high grid voltage into the exceptionally low voltage (e.g., 100-300V) and immensely high current (tens to hundreds of kA) required for efficient submerged arc smelting.

Precise Process Control & High Efficiency

    Features a wide range of on-load tap changing (OLTC) capabilities, allowing for dynamic adjustment of electrode voltage and furnace power without interrupting production, optimizing specific energy consumption (kWh/ton) and melt chemistry.

Extreme Mechanical & Electrical Robustness

    Constructed with reinforced windings, massive clamping structures, and components designed to withstand tremendous electromagnetic forces and continuous thermal stress, ensuring longevity under 24/7 operation.

Very High Short-Circuit Impedance

    Designed with inherently high impedance to limit fault currents during electrode contacts or short circuits, protecting the transformer, furnace, and upstream electrical network.

Advanced Cooling Systems

    Equipped with forced-oil, forced-air (OFAF) or water-cooled heat exchangers to manage the immense heat generated by high losses, ensuring stable operating temperatures and extended insulation life.

Flexible Winding Configurations

    Offered in various connection schemes (e.g., delta, extended delta) to optimize power input characteristics and facilitate multi-electrode furnace operation (3, 6, or 9 electrodes).

Packaging, Warranty & Certifications
 Packaging:
Due to its colossal size and weight, the transformer is shipped as major sub-assemblies (core and coils, tank sections) on specially engineered heavy-lift transport frames. All components are meticulously protected against moisture and physical damage. Detailed assembly manuals and supervision are provided.

 Warranty:
We offer a 12-month warranty from successful commissioning or 18 months from shipment, covering material and workmanship defects. Extended warranties for critical components like the OLTC are available.

 Certifications & Testing:
Our manufacturing is certified. Every transformer undergoes exhaustive testing, including routine tests, temperature rise tests, short-circuit withstand tests (if specified), and harmonic analysis. Full type test reports according to IEC 60076 or IEEE C57.18.10 are provided.

 Technical Support:
Includes comprehensive commissioning supervision, operator training, and lifelong technical support with detailed documentation (schematics, test reports, operating manuals).
