The Medium Frequency Furnace Rectifier Transformer is a specialized rectifier transformer engineered to be the robust and efficient power interface between the standard AC grid and medium frequency induction furnace systems. It converts and conditions grid power into a stable, low-voltage supply for the furnace's rectifier unit, which in turn feeds the MF inverter. Designed specifically to handle the demanding load profile of melting and heating applications—characterized by frequent thermal cycling, high harmonic content, and potential overloads—this transformer ensures reliable, continuous operation for your critical thermal processes.
Product Features
• High Overload Capacity
Built with robust windings, reinforced mechanical structures, and optimized thermal design to withstand the intense and fluctuating loads typical of furnace start-up and melting cycles, ensuring maximum uptime.
• Superior Harmonic Mitigation
Incorporates advanced design techniques such as special winding arrangements and electromagnetic shielding to minimize the generation and impact of harmonic currents, protecting the transformer itself and improving the overall power quality of the supply network.
• Optimized Cooling Performance
Features an enhanced cooling system with forced oil circulation (OFAF) or directed air flow and high-efficiency radiators to effectively manage the extra heat generated by harmonic losses and ensure stable operating temperatures.
• High Short-Circuit Withstand Strength
Designed with careful attention to ampere-turn balance and using premium materials to provide exceptional resilience against electrical and mechanical stresses, including short-circuit forces.
• Design Flexibility for Rectification
Can be configured with various secondary voltage outputs and winding connections (e.g., double-star, six-phase) to optimally match different rectifier schemes (thyristor/ diode), improving system efficiency and power factor.

Packaging, Warranty & Certifications
Packaging:
The transformer is shipped fully assembled. The main tank is filled with dry, inert gas or insulating oil and securely mounted on a heavy-duty steel skid base designed for roll-on/roll-off transport and heavy lifting. Detachable coolers, bushings, and control cabinets are packed in separate, robust wooden crates for maximum protection.
Warranty:
We provide a standard 12-month warranty from the date of successful commissioning or 18 months from the date of shipment, whichever occurs first. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.
Certifications & Testing:
Our manufacturing quality system is ISO 9001 certified. Products are designed with reference to IEC 60076 and relevant GB standards. Each unit undergoes comprehensive routine testing, including turns ratio, winding resistance, impedance and load loss measurement, no-load loss and current measurement, and dielectric withstand tests. Special tests like temperature rise tests can be performed upon request.
Technical Support:
We provide complete product documentation, including outline drawings, electrical diagrams, and test reports. Our engineering team offers support for system integration and commissioning assistance.
