Dry-Type Rectifier Transforme

This Series is an advanced, maintenance-free dry-type transformer specifically engineered to provide reliable and efficient power conversion for industrial rectifier systems. By transforming AC grid voltage into stable, isolated low-voltage AC power for downstream rectifiers (thyristor or diode), it serves as the critical heart of DC power supplies for applications like electrolysis, plating, variable frequency drives, and large UPS systems. Its flame-retardant, resin-encapsulated construction offers superior safety, making it ideal for installations where fire hazard, environmental concerns, or indoor placement are paramount.

Description

Product Features

Enhanced Safety for Demanding Environments

The dry-type, oil-free design eliminates the risks of fire, leakage, and environmental contamination associated with liquid-filled transformers. This allows for safe installation directly in electrical rooms, on production floors, or in populated facilities.

Optimized for Rectifier Loads

Designed to withstand the harmonic-rich currents and non-linear loading characteristic of rectifier circuits. Engineered with low stray losses and, when specified, phase-shifting windings to reduce grid-side harmonics and improve power quality.

High Efficiency & Reliability

Utilizes high-grade materials like copper windings and quality core steel to ensure low no-load and load losses. The solid insulation system (cast resin or VPI) provides excellent resistance to moisture, dust, and chemical atmospheres, ensuring long-term reliability with minimal maintenance.

Robust Thermal Management

Designed with integrated cooling ducts and typically equipped with forced-air cooling (AF) fans that automatically activate based on winding temperature. This ensures efficient heat dissipation under high harmonic loads, protecting the insulation and extending service life.

Integrated Protection & Monitoring

Comes standard with a temperature control and monitoring system (TD) that provides real-time winding temperature display, alarm thresholds for overheating, and signals to trip the primary circuit in case of a fault, ensuring complete operational safety.

Packaging, Warranty & Certifications
 Packaging:
The transformer is securely mounted on a heavy-duty steel base frame. It is thoroughly cleaned, wrapped in protective, anti-condensation material, and placed in a robust, weather-resistant wooden export crate. Internal blocking and bracing prevent any movement during transport.

 Warranty:
We offer a standard 12-month warranty from the date of successful commissioning or 18 months from the date of shipment, whichever occurs first. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal operation.

 Certifications & Testing:
Our manufacturing is certified. Every transformer undergoes a comprehensive test regimen in our laboratory, including routine tests (turns ratio, resistance, impedance, load loss, dielectric tests) and specialized tests such as temperature rise test and harmonic loss evaluation upon request. We provide full test reports compliant with international standards.

 Technical Support:
We provide complete documentation, including outline drawings, electrical diagrams, and installation manuals. Our engineering team offers support for system design integration and commissioning.
